Package Offers
A Package allows you to offer a certain number of minutes to selected destinations. It is usually combined with a Subscription for the minutes, but this is not necessary. This service is akin to Mobile Phone offers that allow free minutes to say UK landline and mobiles, but not to non geographic numbers and international numbers.

Add Offer Package
Click Add Offer Package to create a new package of minutes. when it is created, it is selected via the call plan.

Label
Give the Package a sensible name.

Package Type
Some of the labels are are more for administrative purposes rather than for functionality, to remind Admin to how the package was set up. Normally, Free Minutes is the usual option to select.

• Free Minute + Unlimited : This means that on the package you will have a amount of "FREE TIME TO CALL" and on the rate card you will have some destinations with a cost = 0
• Free Minute : This means that on the package you will have a amount of "FREE TIME TO CALL"
• Unlimited : This means that on the rate card you will have some destinations with cost = 0
• Normal : This is with none of the above.

Billing Type
Whether to reset the available free minutes on a monthly or weekly basis. Minutes are not carried over.

Start Day
On which day of the month or week (depending on what was selected above) to reset the free minutes.

Free Time to Call
The amount of time to allow free calling. Note that the figure should be entered in seconds.

List Offer Package
Lists the packages created, with a creation date, and the number of minutes available on that package. There is also an option to add or delete on this screen.

Details Package
The details of the package give admin reports on how much the packages are costing to ensure that overall, the product is profitable against a particular customer.

Using the Package Offer
Packages are attached to a call plan, not to a customer.

1.Create a package
2.Create a call plan with the package selected.
3.Create Rates with "Use Free Time to Call" = yes for the destinations you wish to be free for the given number of minutes in the offer package.
